Through guided writing techniques, you will transform the emotions, struggles, hardships, and challenges of your life into a metaphoric allegory of struggle and triumph. Your narrative will explore the questions, the promises, and the plagues of your unique path in life. Through found imagery collage you will transpose the people in your life into archetypal Gods, Gurus, Heroes, Devils and Demons.

Your hand-made book will become the container for your illustrated narrative. Through the alchemy of collage combined with creative writing techniques, you will explore the deeper significance of your life’s journey.

Thursday & Friday: Introduction and discussion of mythic archetypes and allegorical storytelling.
Saturday: Guided Writing Exercises
Sunday: Collage and BookMaking.
